Rabies in Passaic County & Pet licenses in Little Falls

Cat and dog owners please take note: Rabies have been found in Passaic County. Domestic cats and dogs must be vaccinated to prevent infection. Under New Jersey State law, all dogs must be licensed. All cats must also be licensed. All licenses expire May 31.
Before a license can be issued, proof must be shown that the animal has had a rabies vaccination. Licenses will be on sale during the Rabies Clinic. Licenses are also available in the office of the Township Clerk, 225 Main Street, Little Falls, during regular business hours (8 am to 4 pm weekdays). You may also apply for the license by mail. To do so, please send proof of neutering or spaying, if applicable, and valid rabies vaccination (veterinarian’s certificates or previous year’s license).

Reminder: 2012 pet licenses will expire 5/31/13 and will be renewable starting May 1, 2013.
